My name is Georgia and I am the founder of Matcha Studios. I am a passionate Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor, with further accreditations in Pre Natal, Post Partum and Children's Pilates alongside my level 3 Personal Trainer. I work alongside other instructors here at Matcha to give you classes that encourage and inspire you to lead a healthy lifestyle. We support positive change within your body and mind by focusing on correct Pilates technique whilst moving your body.
We are the first boutique, mat based Pilates studio in Chesterfield who truly value the power and versatility of mat work... delivered by experienced instructors who have a true passion for what and how they teach.

Mama Move
This is a dynamic fitness practice that blends the core-strengthening and flexibility-enhancing principles of traditional Pilates with the heart-pumping intensity of cardiovascular exercise.

Matcha Mama
A gentle, supportive Pilates class designed for new mums and their babies (6weeks-12months). It focuses on postnatal recovery while creating a nurturing space for bonding with your baby.
The class blends core-strengthening Pilates exercises with postural work, breath awareness, and gentle stretching—helping mums rebuild strength, especially in the core, pelvic floor, and lower back. Movements are low-impact and modified for postpartum bodies, with plenty of options for all fitness levels.
Babies stay close—either lying beside mum, on a mat, or even being gently incorporated into certain movements—creating a relaxed, baby-friendly environment. The atmosphere is welcoming, flexible, and non-judgmental, allowing time for feeding, changing, and soothing as needed.

This Prenatal Mat Pilates is a specially designed class that supports and empowers women through all stages of pregnancy. It focuses on safe, low-impact exercises that build strength, stability, and flexibility—particularly in the core, pelvic floor, and back—while promoting good posture and body awareness.
Each class is tailored to the unique needs of pregnancy, with modified movements that accommodate the growing belly and shifting body mechanics. Emphasis is placed on breath control, gentle stretching, and alignment to help ease common discomforts like lower back pain, tight hips, and fatigue. With an increased time for relaxation at the end of every session, you will leave feeling connected to your body and growing baby.
It's a calm, supportive environment where expectant mums can move mindfully, maintain strength, and prepare physically and mentally for birth.
No prior Pilates experience is needed—just a desire to stay active, feel strong, and nurture yourself during this important time.
